Nutrition for your eyes!
August 7, 2006 on 11:01 am | In Uncategorized | No CommentsIf you ask most Chinese about Goji berries, they will almost immediately tell you that they are good for your eyes, it seems that for hundreds of years that the Chinese have known about the health giving benefits of Goji especially for the eyes.
I have been eating the berries in conjunction with my eye exercises and the results have been quite remarkable as I have already mentioned my glasses have been completely discarded. I see no reason why I will ever have to wear them again!
Goji is now taking the Western World by storm and is being promoted as the answer to many sicknesses and diseases, it can be ingested as a juice or as a dried berry. I prefer to chew the berries but many people find the juice more convenient and easier to obtain. If you follow this link you will be able to buy the Goji juice easily in the UK, the company gives free shipping and your juice will arrive the next day.
Why exercise the eyes?
July 29, 2006 on 7:36 pm | In Uncategorized | No CommentsIn order for the eye to function corectly it must be exercised, just like any other part of the body. In the same way that lack of exercise affects the muscles of our arms and legs, lack of exercise for the eyes will seriously affect the eyes ability to work correctly.
We all seem to know when we are getting out of condition physically, our muscles become soft and flabby, we put on weight and generally feel run down. Many head straight for the gym and start working out others just ignore the condition and gradually get fatter and weaker, but accepting the situation with the excuse that they are just getting older! The same applies to the eyes, of course there is a quick fix, just go and buy a pair of glasses and keep getting stronger ones every so often as the eyes continue to get weaker and weaker, they will of course as they are being asked to do less and less work. Just like any other parts of our bodies will if we choose not to exercise them.
Our eyes do not wear out! they just deteriorate as a result of poor diet, lack of proper exercise and lack of proper relaxation.
Like most parts of our body the eyes can be restored to perfect health! The only problem is that a little time and effort is required on a daily basis. A total of about 1 hour each day, say in 3 sets of about 20 minutes. The rewards will be almost immediately felt, so the rapid improvement should be enough to keep us motivated!
On Monday the actual eye exercises and some valuable food advice to help your eyes improve even faster. Till then remember one of my favourite quotes!
Our doubts are traitors that make us lose the good we oft might win.. by fearing to attempt
