Nutrition for your eyes!
August 7, 2006 on 11:01 am | In Uncategorized | No CommentsIf you ask most Chinese about Goji berries, they will almost immediately tell you that they are good for your eyes, it seems that for hundreds of years that the Chinese have known about the health giving benefits of Goji especially for the eyes.
I have been eating the berries in conjunction with my eye exercises and the results have been quite remarkable as I have already mentioned my glasses have been completely discarded. I see no reason why I will ever have to wear them again!
Goji is now taking the Western World by storm and is being promoted as the answer to many sicknesses and diseases, it can be ingested as a juice or as a dried berry. I prefer to chew the berries but many people find the juice more convenient and easier to obtain. If you follow this link you will be able to buy the Goji juice easily in the UK, the company gives free shipping and your juice will arrive the next day.
Why exercise the eyes?
July 29, 2006 on 7:36 pm | In Uncategorized | No CommentsIn order for the eye to function corectly it must be exercised, just like any other part of the body. In the same way that lack of exercise affects the muscles of our arms and legs, lack of exercise for the eyes will seriously affect the eyes ability to work correctly.
We all seem to know when we are getting out of condition physically, our muscles become soft and flabby, we put on weight and generally feel run down. Many head straight for the gym and start working out others just ignore the condition and gradually get fatter and weaker, but accepting the situation with the excuse that they are just getting older! The same applies to the eyes, of course there is a quick fix, just go and buy a pair of glasses and keep getting stronger ones every so often as the eyes continue to get weaker and weaker, they will of course as they are being asked to do less and less work. Just like any other parts of our bodies will if we choose not to exercise them.
Our eyes do not wear out! they just deteriorate as a result of poor diet, lack of proper exercise and lack of proper relaxation.
Like most parts of our body the eyes can be restored to perfect health! The only problem is that a little time and effort is required on a daily basis. A total of about 1 hour each day, say in 3 sets of about 20 minutes. The rewards will be almost immediately felt, so the rapid improvement should be enough to keep us motivated!
On Monday the actual eye exercises and some valuable food advice to help your eyes improve even faster. Till then remember one of my favourite quotes!
Our doubts are traitors that make us lose the good we oft might win.. by fearing to attempt

Challenge your optician!
July 17, 2006 on 8:24 pm | In Healthy body | 1 CommentAsk your optician or eye doctor if your vision can be improved without the use of glasses, contact lenses or surgery.
Ask if there are any eye exercises that you can be taught and if your diet can have a good or bad effect on your eyesight.
The answer should be yes to both questions as eye exercises and diet can have a profound influence on ones ability to see clearly, without glasses, contacts or surgery.
There is plenty of hard evidence that most forms of impaired sight can be cured naturally by exercise and diet.
For your local optician this is really bad information to spread around. as he can only make a living by selling eyeglasses, contact lenses or performing eye surgery. So you can have a rough guess at what the answer will be to your challenge.
Over the next few weeks I will share some information with you that may help you to achieve 20/20 vision and throw away your glasses or contact lenses. this valuable information will be completely free of monetary cost but will cost you a little time and effort.
Just remember that nothing worthwhile was ever achieved without some effort!
I have just thrown away my reading glasses!

May 17, 2006 on 6:41 pm | In Healthy body | No CommentsAmong boys and girls aged 2-15, the proportion who were obese increased between 1995 and 2004, from 11 per cent in 1995 to 19 per cent in 2004 among boys, and from 12 per cent in 1995 to 18 per cent in 2004 among girls.
The same pattern was apparent among boys aged 2-10 between 1995 and 2004, with an increase in the proportion that were obese, (10 per cent to 16 per cent). There was a different pattern for girls aged 2-10, with no statistically significant increases in the proportion overweight (14 per cent in 2004) or obese (12 per cent in 2004) in this period.
In boys aged 11-15, as with younger boys, there was an increase in the proportion that were obese between 1995 and 2004 (14 per cent to 24 per cent). There were increases in this period among girls aged 11-15 who were overweight (14 per cent to 19 per cent), and obese (15 per cent to 26 per cent).
Sailing for Health
April 25, 2006 on 4:16 pm | In Healthy body | No CommentsOne of the healthiest things I have ever done was to sail a 40ft Yacht from New York to Sydney, Australia with my Chinese wife Hong. By the time we arrived in Australia we were as fit as Malley Bulls (to coin an Aussie phrase). Loads of exercise, clean air and simple healthy food were the key ingredients of our healthy lifestyle. Muscles become toned from hauling up sails, grinding winches and from just the continuous balancing of the body against the rolling, pitching and yawing of the boat at sea.
Even though we only slept for 3 hours in shifts, and sometimes went for a couple of days without sleep we still were full of energy and remained free of any of the common minor sicknesses that plague modern civilization.

Blood PH level and cancer
March 23, 2006 on 7:46 pm | In Healthy body | No CommentsThis story was emailed to me by a friend in China who knew one of the people in the story.
The story about cancer
About 40 years ago, when Mr. Zhang was working in a beer factory in Taipei, he had the opportunity to go abroad to study. Before he left, he had a health check as required. He was told there was a tumour in his lung, which was as big as a child’s fist. Mr. Zhang couldn’t believe this result as he always felt young and strong. But he soon faced the fact and fell into deep depression as he received the same diagnosis from another hospital. He started to talk to his classmate Mr. Wei about the matters to be handled when he would pass away.
It was a coincidence that Mr. Wei had a good friend Dr. Luv who was the ex-professor of Ma Xie hospital in Taiwan. Mr. Wei arranged a meeting between his classmate and his friend Dr. Luv. When they met, Dr. Luv asked Mr. Zhang and Wei: “Can you tell me why do people call cancer a terminal sickness?”
They couldn’t answer the question.
Dr. Luv continued: “We have two ways to cure cancer so far, one is to get rid of the root by cutting the cancer out; another is improve the bodies immune system. But strangely enough, however if we try to kill the cancer cells, it will end up that we kill the good cells first; and whatever nutrition we put into the body, the cancer cells absorb it first and grow faster. So, both ways can’t help, that’s why cancer is called the terminal sickness.”
“But, there is always a way to go through anything we want to, why don’t we think about another way, the third one.
First, many thanks to the God who gave me the chance to practice medicine and study the subject of cancer in Ma Xie hospital and for getting help from all the departments in the hospital. I’ve discovered that the PH level of the blood of six hundred people who got cancer was acidic. But people who are vegetarians or live near the natural environment, like monks, their blood PH level is alkaline, these people hardly ever get cancer. I bravely calculate that cancer cells can hardly live in alkaline blood.
So, Mr. Zhang, I suggest that you start to eat less meaty food, which is acid food, and eat more alkaline food. Start to change your body’s condition. Also get closer to nature and live a better life style. If you can survive for five years, you should be fine in the future. God bless you!”
Mr. Zhang did what Dr. Luv suggested, changed his lifestyle by doing regular exercise and being positive for everything, he also started eating healthy food.
One year later, he went to the same hospital for a recheck. This time he found out his cancer tumour hadn’t grown any bigger, and was even smaller than before.
About forty years have now past, Mr. Zhang is in good health and living a happy life. Besides him, there was another man called ChenTianShou, who was the chief of service department in Tai Dong hospital, he had lung cancer, he also got help from Mr. Wei and did what Mr. Zhang had done to change his lifestyle. He also still lives a good life, so far without cancer.
By this time, Dr, Luv and his family had already emigrated to the USA. When he came back to visit his home town in Taiwan, Mr. Wei suggested Dr. Luv publish the results of both cases, letting people help themselves, by changing their lifestyle and their blood’s Ph level to get rid of the cancer cells. But Dr. Luv refused: “I am too old to do that, and as I haven’t followed their case history, I can’t publish the result. Please pass the information to your friends who need help, and God bless.”
Care about yourself also others.
In 85% of people who have cancer, their blood PH level is acid.
* Healthy people’s blood PH level is low alkaline, about PH 7.35~7.45
* Newborn baby’s blood PH level is low alkaline.
* The Ph level is changing to acid as growing adult.
Acid body shows:
* The skin without shine.
* Easy feel tired.
* Fat
* Breathing hard with little exertion.
* Moving slowly, reactions slow as well.
What causes the acid body?
a) Too much pressure and haven’t got the regular life style.
b) Also late sleep.
c) Human’s body is not designed for pre-store food and sleep, so if not doing the right thing on the right time, it’s easy to get the sickness.
P.S. Some food with their PH level:
1. High acid food:
Egg yolk, cheese and cake made with white sugar,
2. Medium acid food:
Bacon, ham, chicken, pork, eel, beef, bread, wheat, butter, horse meat.
3. Low acid food:
White rice, peanuts, beer, rice wine, deep fried tofu, mussels,
4. Low alkaline food:
Red bean, radish, apple, broccoli, onion, tofu
5. Middle alkaline food:
Dried radish, soy bean, carrot, tomato, banana, mandarin, strawberry, egg white, dried prune, lemon, spinach
6. High alkaline food:
Grapes, wine, tea, seaweed,

Non-Smokers Rights!
February 20, 2006 on 6:58 pm | In Opinion | No CommentsLets cut the crap about smoking and say it the way it really is! SMOKING IS A DIRTY, FILTHY, DISGUSTING HABIT, that KILLS those who smoke and those who don’t. It is one of the worst anti-social habits and it now seems that non-smokers are discriminated against more than smokers! How can a non-smoker enjoy a football game in a bar or a live band or some comedy without being choked by the fumes from cigarettes, and the sound of perpetual coughing from the smokers, its not easy! There are very few locations that offer facilities for people who want to breath air that is not polluted by foul smelling tobacco smoke. I was so happy when I found a bar where we could enjoy some food and play some chess in a smoke free area, until suddenly I smelt smoke! I looked over and saw a person in our smoke free area puffing away, “excuse me, this is a non- smoking area ” I said triumphantly! Only to be shot down in flames by the bar person who was quick to inform me that it was only a non-smoking area until 8 PM! So should I take my unfinished drink and food and leave? what sort of rules are these? I am sick of hearing about the rights of people to smoke! I want the right to breathe clean air wherever I choose to go, even walking down the street, lets give every smoker a plastic bag to put over his or her head, then they can puff away till their hearts content, better yet lets encourage every smoker to get healthy and QUIT SMOKING
